The Healthy Opportunities Pilot program is a new service initiated by the state of North Carolina to address and evaluate food, housing, transportation, and other non-medical interventions for Medicaid enrollees.

HIGHTS proudly serves our community and HIGHTS participants with food insecurity needs by providing personalized grocery shopping and delivery that promote healthy choices.

HIGHTS Staff are careful to ask about allergies and other related illnesses so that we can provide the right foods to families who might not otherwise be able to afford healthy options that align with their dietary needs.

Through HIGHTS H.O.P. small appliance fundraiser, we were able to gift appliances to families in need before the holiday season so that they could properly cook food for their families.

The Healthy Opportunities Pilot (HOP) program through HIGHTS provided a family with food boxes, supplementing their rent which saved them from being evicted right before the holidays.
